Travertine Bathroom and Shower

December 18th, 2008 — 1:22pm

Brimer Construction built out a bathroom in Gwinnett county, Suwanee. The tile chosen is 18×18 travertine floors and a 4×4 tumble marble for the shower, jacuzzi tub. We used a color tile and grout to compliment the color scheme of the finished room. By using quick setting mortar when we set the tile we were able to finish this project in a short, specified time frame. This metro Atlanta bathroom was designed and built within the space and budget provided. Some of the pictures are of unfinished work in progress. For ideas and an estimate on how we can renovate or add a bathroom in your home, contact us through our website or call us at 404-428-1255

Thompson Metal Canopies

December 1st, 2008 — 7:34pm

Freestanding Canopies with built-in Gutters

Brimer Construction is an authorized reseller and installer of the Thompson Canopies. Not only are the canopies designed to bring architectural interest to a building, but are also a very practical addition. All Thompson Canopies are constructed with a built-in gutter system using two simple drain spouts on both sides of the canopy, to protect the person and door way from the rain. It also guards the expensive mill work from premature rotting due to rain and sun exposure.

Competitor awnings are made of lite aluminum or canvas, with no built in gutter system. This leads to sheets of rain flowing over the edge which soaks a person approaching the door. In addition canvas materials have a life of five to fifteen years, depending on the weight of the material. In contrast, Thompson Canopies will last as long as your home.

Variety

We realize variety is the spice of life, therefore we have produce our canopies in a choice of two metals. One is 100% copper, a vibrant and beautiful metal that will patina over a six month period, for a classic appearance. The second is a paint grip steel that can be painted to match any decor. This metal accepts any latex based exterior paint, however for longer life it is recommended that you use an exterior enamel based paint.
